Certis Belchim and Redestos form joint venture to expand in Balkans

Certis Belchim and Redestos have strengthened their strategic alliance to enhance market presence in the Balkan region through the formation of a new joint venture, KCB Agriscience. This development follows regulatory approvals in all relevant jurisdictions, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to agricultural innovation.
As part of the agreement, Certis Belchim will acquire a 30% stake in K&N Efthymiadis, Redestos’ plant protection subsidiary, which operates in Greece and Cyprus. This investment aligns with Certis Belchim’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in Southern Europe.
KCB Agriscience will focus on delivering sustainable and advanced crop protection solutions to farmers in key Balkan markets, including Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Moldova, and Albania. The new entity will leverage the combined expertise and distribution networks of both parent companies, ensuring integrated and effective solutions tailored to regional agricultural needs.
Certis Belchim holds a 70% share in the joint venture, while Redestos retains 30%, demonstrating a balanced partnership aimed at long-term growth. Both companies bring extensive experience in agricultural development and are dedicated to fostering innovation to support farmers across the region.
This expanded collaboration aims to advance sustainable agriculture and provide comprehensive support to growers in the Balkans.
