Kazim Saeed, CEO of the Pakistan Agricultural Coalition, emphasized the critical role of AgriConnections 2025 in advancing Pakistan’s agricultural economy. He remarked, “Pakistan has the capacity to emerge as an agricultural superpower. However, realizing this potential demands strategic investments, the adoption of modern financial tools, and significant policy reforms. The PAC is committed to addressing these needs, and the conference will serve as a vital platform for fostering the necessary solutions and connections to stimulate investment and growth.”
The conference schedule includes discussions on vital topics such as the development of a national agri-commodity market, expansion of agricultural investments, and enhancement of policy frameworks. Additionally, experts will explore avenues for Pakistani farmers to leverage carbon credits and gain financial inclusion through agri-fintech solutions. The role of public-private partnerships in bolstering farmer empowerment will also be discussed. Insights from Hungarian agricultural experts will offer best practices that could be instrumental in enhancing Pakistan’s agricultural efficiency and productivity.
A standout feature of AgriConnections 2025 will be the ZarZaraat agri-startup competition, sponsored by the Bank of Punjab in collaboration with the Pakistan Business Council and the Pakistan Banks Association. This initiative is designed to nurture emerging agri-tech entrepreneurs who are innovating to modernize farming and agribusiness processes in Pakistan. The event is set to attract prominent financial and agricultural experts, policymakers, and corporate leaders, all sharing insights aimed at fortifying Pakistan’s agricultural resilience and promoting economic growth.
