Martin Engineering expands into Kazakhstan with a new business unit
In early December 2024, Martin Engineering announced the launch of a new business unit in Kazakhstan. Situated in Almaty, this new venture is set to serve as a regional center, aiming to extend the company’s comprehensive range of products and services to Central Asia’s rapidly evolving mining industry.
The company’s decision to establish this unit follows its continued success in the region, highlighted by its delivery of innovative conveyor belt cleaning solutions to some of Kazakhstan’s major copper producers, enhancing both plant efficiency and productivity. The new business unit promises to provide Kazakhstan’s mining and mineral processing sectors with access to an expanded portfolio of cutting-edge conveyor products, including CleanScrape belt cleaners and the versatile Orion SQC2S Secondary Belt Cleaner. The introduction of high-performance Air Cannons featuring SMART Series Nozzles is expected to optimize material flow further.
With the establishment of this unit, Kazakh customers will benefit from quicker service responses, improved supply chain logistics, opportunities for new product trials, and advanced problem-solving services like Walk The Belt and customized Foundations training for maintenance teams.
General Manager Oleg Glukhov, who has been with Martin Engineering for over seven years, is leading the new business unit. Glukhov emphasized Kazakhstan’s strategic importance in the global materials market and the role Martin Engineering will play in enhancing operational performance and safety for local industries.
