Alexander Lukashenko reshuffles leadership at Belaruskali
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has approved significant changes in the leadership of two major chemical companies, Belneftekhim and Belaruskali.
Andrey Rybakov, previously the head of the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Gas (Belneftekhim), has taken over as the leader of Belaruskali. Meanwhile, Ilya Ikan, who formerly managed Polotsk-Steklovolokno, has been appointed as the General Director of Belneftekhim. These strategic appointments reflect a reshuffle in the country’s top industrial leadership.
The contract of Ivan Golovaty, former CEO of Belaruskali, is about to expire. He has been in the CEO role for the last ten years; Golovaty is also one of the founders of the Shakhtyor hockey club.
