Mosaic reports strong sales performance for April and May 2024
The Mosaic Company has unveiled its consolidated sales volumes and revenue figures for April and May 2024, detailing performance across its major business segments.
Potash:
- Sales Volumes: 1,314,000 tonnes (Apr/May 2024) compared to 1,617,000 tonnes (Apr/May 2023)
- Sales Revenues: $371 million (Apr/May 2024) compared to $672 million (Apr/May 2023)
Phosphates:
- Sales Volumes: 932,000 tonnes (Apr/May 2024) compared to 1,329,000 tonnes (Apr/May 2023)
- Sales Revenues: $671 million (Apr/May 2024) compared to $948 million (Apr/May 2023)
Mosaic Fertilizantes:
- Sales Volumes: 1,237,000 tonnes (Apr/May 2024) compared to 1,305,000 tonnes (Apr/May 2023)
- Sales Revenues: $606 million (Apr/May 2024) compared to $791 million (Apr/May 2023)
Mosaic reiterated its guidance for the second quarter of 2024, forecasting potash sales volumes between 2.2-2.4 million tonnes with prices ranging from $210 to $250 per tonne. Phosphates sales volumes are anticipated to range from 1.6-1.8 million tonnes with prices between $530 and $580 per tonne.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
