Yara and Petrobras to explore business partnerships

Yara announced on Thursday that its Brazilian subsidiary, Yara Brasil Fertilizantes S.A., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Brazilian state-run oil company Petrobras with a view to exploring business partnerships related to the production and decarbonization of local fertilizer and industrial products.
The Norwegian chemical company noted the importance of the Brazilian market for the agricultural and industrial sectors, and stressed its commitment to tackling food security challenges and decarbonizing the food supply chain. Yara said that further updates will be shared in due course.
