Intrepid Potash reports net loss in Q3
Intrepid Potash reported on Wednesday that in the third quarter of 2023 its revenue fell 27% year over year, from $74.8mn to $54.5mn.
The United States’ largest producer of potassium chloride posted a net loss of $7.2mn, or $0.56 per diluted share.
In 2022, it said, its net income had been $13.1mn, or $0.97 per diluted share.
Intrepid indicated that its weaker performance was driven primarily by lower pricing of its key products and an increase in its costs.
