Brazil sets monthly record for fertilizer deliveries
Brazil’s fertilizer deliveries in August set a monthly record, hitting 5.5 million tonnes, the Terra news site reported on Friday, citing data from the Brazilian National Fertilizer Association (ANDA).
The publication said that figure marks a 32.6% year-on-year increase. It added that the previous monthly record had been set in July 2021, when fertilizer deliveries reached 5.059 million tons.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
