Imports of fertilizers from Russia to Poland increased 3.3 times
In July 2023, Poland increased its imports of fertilizers from Russia by 3.3 times. The value of chemicals shipped was $20.2 million. Last year, during the same period, fertilizers worth $6.2 million were imported from Russia. Currently, Russian chemical producers occupy second place among suppliers of fertilizers to Poland. Last year they were in sixth place.
In July, the top five fertilizer suppliers to Poland were Germany ($22.6 million), Lithuania ($13.5 million), Finland ($8.3 million) and the Netherlands ($8.1 million).
Over the seven months of this year, fertilizers worth $97.6 million were supplied from Russia to Poland.
