Kemerovo Azot passed the certification audit
Kemerovo Azot (part of Azot Group) received the certification for compliance with the international energy efficiency standard ISO 50001:2018.
The audit was carried out by experts from the SGS international company. Over the course of two months, they became familiar with the energy policy and energy management implemented at the enterprise. Among other things, they were interested in how carefully the plant treats energy resources, how interested management and staff are in increasing the energy efficiency of production, and whether orders and regulations related to energy management are observed.
“We got acquainted with Azot’s energy management system and made sure that it was developed, implemented, supported, developed and fully complies with the requirements of the international energy efficiency standard ISO 50001:2018,” said Alexander Nasonov, leading auditor-expert at SGS.
Based on the results of the audit, the enterprise’s energy management system complied with the international standard ISO 50001:2028, and the company received a certificate confirming this assessment. Maintaining and developing an energy management system is beneficial for the enterprise’s economy and the environment: careful use of energy resources allows you to avoid losses and also reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, compliance with international standards increases the competitiveness of the plant in the global market, causing increased consumer loyalty.
Recall that today at Kemerovo Azot two more international standards ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and the Russian standard GOST R ISO 9001-2015 have been successfully implemented and are in effect.
