PhosAgro and the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation
PhosAgro, one of the world’s leading producers of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, and the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation during the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The document was signed by Pavel Shinsky, General Director of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Alexander Sharabaiko, Deputy General Director for Finance and International Projects at PhosAgro.
The memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation between PhosAgro and members of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the field of ensuring food security, as well as developing scientific and technical ties, including in the field of agricultural technologies.
“We can only welcome the intensification of cooperation in ensuring food security, an area that works for the benefit of all mankind. First of all, we are talking about supplying European and French agriculture with fertilizers that do not contain cadmium concentrations hazardous to human health and soils – the most “green” fertilizers today. We will also do everything in our power to maintain and develop cooperation in the field of improving the environment,” said Pavel Shinsky.
“It’s gratifying that, despite the volatile situation in the world, the business circles of our countries maintain a dialogue. Especially in such a significant area of food security. We see a growing demand for eco-efficient fertilizers from French farmers and are ready to share our expertise with colleagues, to reliably provide French farmers with high-quality and effective “growth vitamins,” noted Alexander Sharabaiko.
