TogliattiAzot and Russian Railways signed a cooperation agreement
TogliattiAzot and Russian Railways signed a long-term cooperation agreement. As part of this deal, Russian Railways will transport mineral fertilizers and ammonia to the port of Taman, where TogliattiAzot is building a terminal. The signing ceremony took place during the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The document was signed by TogliattiAzot General Director Anatoly Shablinsky and Russian Railways General Director Oleg Belozerov.
The agreement was concluded to establish mutually beneficial long-term cooperation on the implementation of the road map. Russian Railways agreed to provide transportation of goods to the new terminal and to lease diesel locomotives that will be used on non-public tracks.
