Russia extended the export quota for mineral fertilizers
The Government of Russia has decided to extend the restrictions on the export of mineral fertilizers. According to the signed resolution, the restriction is introduced for the period from June 1 to November 30 of the current year. The total volume of the quota is slightly more than 16.3 million tons.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will be responsible for the distribution of volumes among exporters. Quotas do not apply to the supply of fertilizers to South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Also, the quota for the export of fertilizers, which is valid from January 1 to May 31, 2023, was increased by almost 2 million tons. This was done thanks to the full supply of fertilizers to the domestic market.
