Acron’s net profit for 1Q2023 witnessed a threefold decline
According to the data of Russian Accounting Standards, Acron’s net profit in 1Q2023 amounted to 13.8 billion rubles (almost $172.3 million). This is 2.8 times less than in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue fell to 27.9 billion rubles (over $348.3 million, by 1.7 times). Gross profit amounted to 20.5 billion rubles (approximately $256 million), which is 58% less than last year. Acron’s profit from sales decreased by almost 3 times and amounted to 15.7 billion rubles (just over $196 million).

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
