Cherkasy Azot increased production of mineral fertilizers by 23%

During the first two months of this year, Cherkasy Azot (part of Group DF) produced 235 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers. This is 23% more than in the same period last year.
The most significant increase of almost 3 times (67.4 thousand tons) was in the production of carbamide. At the same time, the output of ammonium nitrate decreased to 102.2 thousand tons (by 2%). The production of the carbamide-ammoniac compound increased by 10.4% (56.2 thousand tons) to 123.7 thousand tons in February 2023. According to experts, such an increase in production is caused by a seasonal increase in demand.
