Russia increased export quotas for mineral fertilizers
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution according to which the current quotas for the export of mineral fertilizers from Russia are increased by 300 thousand tons.
The decision will be in effect until May 31, 2023. The website of the government of Russia reports that the quota for the export of ammonium nitrate has been increased.
Mikhail Mishustin noted that mineral fertilizer producers will be able to sell the surplus of finished products abroad after the needs of the domestic market are met in full.
The total export volume is expected to exceed 12.6 million tons. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will be responsible for the quota distribution among exporters.
