China called on the UN to remove export barriers for Russian fertilizers
China calls on the UN Secretariat to make real efforts to remove obstacles to the export of Russian food and mineral fertilizers, its ambassador Zhang Jun said.
“China welcomes the continued implementation of the grain deal and calls on the UN Secretariat to make practical efforts to remove obstacles to the export of Russian food and mineral fertilizers,” Zhang Jun claimed.
The analysts of Fertilizer Daily believe that Zhang Jun’s statement may indicate dissatisfaction of the Chinese authorities with the blockade by the European Union of Russian export of mineral fertilizer, including to China, which is highly dependent on their supplies.
