KazAzot intends to create a new ammonia-carbamide complex

General Director of KazAzot Arman Mauleshev and Chairman of the Board of the Free Economic Zone Seaport Aktau Askhat Kabashev signed a memorandum of cooperation.
According to the document, it’s planned to build a complex for the production of 600 thousand tons of ammonia, 395 thousand tons of nitric acid, 577 thousand tons of carbamide, and 500 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate per year.
The memorandum provides for the allocation of a land plot for the future complex and assistance in obtaining investment preferences and tax benefits.
KazAzot produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate, and complex fertilizers.
