Russia and Ukraine are discussing the restart of the ammonia pipeline
Representatives of Russia and Ukraine are considering the possibility of resuming the operation of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline as part of the extension of the grain deal, although it’s not yet clear whether this will happen.
“There were some contacts at various levels but the final decision on a possible extension has not yet been made,” said Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Representative of Russia to the UN.
Earlier it was reported that Russia and Ukraine may agree to extend the grain deal until its expiration on November 19, 2022, and that, as a condition of the new agreement, Russia will resume the export of ammonia through the territory of Ukraine.
