Minudobreniya filed a claim against Ostchem
The Minudobreniya plant (city of Rossosh, Voronezh region) filed a claim to the Commercial Court of Voronezh region to recover 30.9 billion rubles (over $493 million) from the subsidiary of Ostchem (Ukraine). The reasons for the lawsuits have not been revealed.
Minudobreniya can produce up to 1 million tons of ammonia, 500 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate and 1 million tons of complex fertilizers per year. Their products are shipped to farmers in Russia and abroad.
Ostchem combines several enterprises producing nitrogen fertilizers located in Ukraine.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
