Ammophos and ammonium nitrate rose in price in the Stavropol region
Agricultural enterprises and farmers of the Stavropol region are preparing for the sowing of winter crops. Their demand for mineral fertilizers is 277.6 thousand tons, while currently 112.9 thousand tons have been stored.
In general, from the beginning of June to the present day, farmers of the Stavropol region received 24.5 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers, 2.4 thousand tons of potassium fertilizers and 33.6 thousand tons of phosphorus and complex fertilizers.
At the same time, in August, ammonium nitrate in the region rose in price by 1% (compared to the same month in 2021) to 24 thousand rubles (about $400) per 1 ton, ammophos – by 3% to 60.7 thousand rubles (over $1 thousand), while the carbamide-ammoniac compound fell in price by 1% to 25.5 thousand rubles (about $425) and sulfoammophos – by 0.2% to 47.6 thousand rubles (approximately $794).
