Valent BioSciences will expand production of biopesticides
American company Valent BioSciences has decided to increase the production of biopesticides at its plant located in Osage (Iowa). The project will start this summer and is planned to be completed in 2Q2024.
It also provides for the creation of a research pilot complex. It will allow faster development and the introduction of new pesticides.
Valent BioSciences built its facility in 2014. Since then, the company has been actively investing in expanding its business to strengthen its position in the US and global crop protection market.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
