Tessenderlo Group will build new liquid fertilizers plant in the US
American Tessenderlo Kerley (part of the Belgian Tessenderlo Group) intends to build a plant in Ohio for the production of liquid sulfur-based fertilizers sold under the trademarks Thio-Sul, KTS and K-Row 23. The plant is scheduled to be launched in 1Q2024, and it will provide at least 17 jobs.
“The new venture will strengthen our presence in the United States and help meet growing demand for mineral fertilizers and help us achieve our sustainability goals,” said Russell Sides, Vice President of Tessenderlo Group.
The site for the location of the future enterprise was chosen taking into account proximity to customers, an extensive transport network and a skilled workforce.
