Russia develops a new green strategy

PhosAgro will participate in the developing of a vertically integrated green strategy following the instruction of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

“From the very beginning, we have been an active participant in projects to create a green standard in Russia for agricultural products and raw materials with improved characteristics. It’s important for us that PhosAgro was the first in Russia to receive a certificate under the green standard, which confirmed the unique eco-efficiency of our mineral fertilizers,” said PhosAgro CEO Mikhail Rybnikov. “Based on the green strategy, professional courses will be developed to train specialists in the agro-industrial complex who are able to apply in practice the technologies for the production of improved agricultural products. They will be integrated with a comprehensive educational program that PhosAgro, in close cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, is already implementing at the country’s leading agricultural universities.”

The green strategy for practical implementation will be tested in agriculture in Russia.
