An interesting price fixing mechanism was developed in Russia
The head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Maxim Shaskolsky, said that the mechanism for fixing prices for raw materials for the production of mineral fertilizers supplied to the domestic market may come into force as early as this year.
“We are currently working to ensure that raw materials for mineral fertilizer producers, primarily sulfur, are under control and supplied at certain prices, without super profitability,” said Maxim Shaskolsky. “Companies that supply raw materials will adopt a trade policy that will allow them to fix prices at a certain level and supply their products at agreed prices to those producers that sell mineral fertilizers to the domestic market.”
