PhosAgro supplied 11 agricultural universities with mineral fertilizers
PhosAgro provided 11 agricultural universities in Russia with mineral fertilizers. They will be used for short- and long-term field researches in the current season to improve agricultural technologies and solve a wider range of crop production issues.
“PhosAgro specialists provide consulting support on plant nutrition for universities that use the company’s mineral fertilizers in scientific work,” said Pavel Dolgushkin, head of cross-functional projects at Apatit (part of PhosAgro). “This time, PhosAgro specialists studied agronomic experiments of students and shared recommendations on plant nutrition systems. We aim to train high-level professionals, who will be fully prepared to use innovative PhosAgro products in their work.”
It’s the second year when PhosAgro supplies mineral fertilizers to agricultural universities as part of a large-scale program of cooperation between the company and educational institutions. PhosAgro has already opened six educational centers in Russian agricultural universities. They regularly hold lectures and practical classes for students and advanced training courses for university teachers and farmers.
