PhosAgro is ready to pay its Eurobond coupons
PhosAgro has revealed the situation with the coupon payments on previously issued Eurobonds of $500 million with a coupon rate of 3.9% and a repayment in 2023.
According to the company’s press-release, to pay almost $9.9 million to Eurobond holders, PhosAgro issued a corresponding instruction to its paying agent Citibank. However, to date, it has not fulfilled it yet.
Even though, the bond issue documentation says that the company’s coupon payment obligations are considered to be fully met, PhosAgro will continue to make every possible effort to ensure Citibank’s coupon payment to Eurobond holders as soon as possible and will inform them about its status.
