Poland imposed sanctions against Acron
The government of Poland imposed sanctions against Russian businessmen and companies. Among them are Acron Group and its owner Vyacheslav Kantor (previously sanctions against him were imposed by the British authorities).
Eurochem Poland (part of EuroChem) and its former owner Andrey Melnichenko also fell under the Polish sanctions.
Among the individuals included in the list of sanctions is Oleg Deripaska. According to Rusprofile.ru, Oleg Deripaska is the director of the Sokolskoye-Agro enterprise, which grows grain crops.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
