AgFarm aims to transform the Indian pesticides market
The Arab AgFarm intends to enter the Indian market and become the country’s first supplier of plant protection products exclusively on electronic trading platforms. The idea of its creators is to sell them at the lowest possible prices and connect pesticide producers and farmers.
“It’s time to modernize India’s agriculture in every possible way to ensure the quality of food and reduce the production costs. As we are on the verge of introducing modern technologies, we should also introduce and develop digital trade in crop protection products to eliminate intermediaries and give farmers direct access to producers,” said Vaman Alawadhi, Director of AgFarm.
