PhosAgro will expand its product portfolio
PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev attended the Gaidar Forum, where he spoke about the company’s contribution to the establishment and development of sustainable agriculture.
According to his statement, PhosAgro currently has over 50 brands of mineral fertilizers for different crops and natural and climatic conditions. Each granule of PhosAgro complex fertilizers contains up to 8 micronutrient elements, namely nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, zinc, and boron.
“PhosAgro is developing new brands of fertilizers that provide efficient plant nutrition and allow agriculture to be carried out following the requirements of sustainability. By 2025, we will offer over 100 brands, including 25 innovative biomineral fertilizers, fertilizers with inhibitors and ameliorants, as well as long-acting fertilizers,” said Andrey Guryev.
Increased consumer demand for green products provides new opportunities for the Russian agricultural sector.
“The market for green products is the fastest growing, and this is a good niche for Russia. It’s important that with the active participation of PhosAgro, our country has introduced the most stringent restrictions on cadmium in fertilizers in the world to create a green brand of improved food. They are even stricter than the limits of the EU that will come into force only in July this year. Such high standards guarantee the safety of agricultural products grown using our eco-efficient and, in the future, carbon-neutral fertilizers, thereby strengthening the position of the Russian agro-industrial complex abroad,” noted Andrey Guryev.
