Oleg Deripaska intends to sue over a land plot
On February 8 this year, the Commercial Court of the Krasnodar region will hold a hearing on the claim of an individual entrepreneur Oleg Deripaska against the Department of Property Relations of the Krasnodar region.
As follows from the case files, Oleg Deripaska intends to reach a settlement of disputes that arose during the conclusion of the purchase and sales transaction of a land plot of about 2.158 million sq.m. (215.8 hectares). The price of the agreement was almost 13.976 million rubles (approximately $183 thousand).
Currently, Russia widely knows only one businessman Oleg Deripaska — the one who was associated with En+ Group, Rusal, GAZ Group, and established the Volnoe Delo foundation. Previously Oleg Deripaska owned Kuban Agro Holding, but after the introduction of the US sanctions against him in 2018, Oleg Deripaska sold the Kuban assets. On its basis, the Progress Agro group was created.
However, the website of the company says: “As a result of the reorganization, a group of companies named Progress Agro was formed in March 2019.” Its CEO is Leonid Ragozin, who previously worked at Kuban Agro Holding.
According to Rusprofile.ru, Oleg Deripaska is the director of the Sokolskoye-Agro enterprise, which grows grain crops.
