Corteva Agriscience expands to the Serbian market
Serbia has approved the use of the Univoq fungicide of Corteva Agriscience production. Univoq helps to fight septoria in cereals. Its sales will begin in Serbia next year.
Univoq has been previously approved in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Great Britain, and Greece. Its approval is also being considered in other European countries.
“This is a new fungicide for the Serbian market and a signal to our customers that we’re here to help them become more profitable,” said Ivana Denic, manager of Corteva Agriscience.
Agriculture in Serbia is mainly based on the cultivation of grain crops. The harvest of corn in the country may exceed 6 million tons, wheat – 2 million tons per year.
