Russia imposed fertilizer export quotas to protect domestic market
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia published the quotas for the export of mineral fertilizers, which come into force from December 1 this year until May 31, 2022.
As follows from the document, Apatit (part of PhosAgro) will be allowed to export up to 759.6 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers. Urlachem up to 551.5 thousand tons, Acron Group – 465.1 thousand tons, Togliattiazot – 428 thousand tons. Novomoskovskiy Azot (part of EuroChem) is allowed to export up to 697.7 thousand tons.
In the case of complex fertilizers, Apatit can export 2.7 million tons, Uralchem - 572.6 thousand tons, Acron Group – 693 thousand tons.
The export of fertilizers from Russia is limited by 5.9 and 5.35 million tons of nitrogen and complex fertilizers, respectively.
