Sber filed a claim against Bayer in the Russian court
On November 10, 2021, the Commercial Court of Moscow will consider a claim of Sber against the Russian subsidiary of the German chemical giant Bayer.
According to the case files, Sber intends to terminate a contract, however, it’s not specified which one exactly. It’s planned to involve the bankruptcy supervisor of the Agriplant company, Evgeny Korobov, to participate in the case.
Agriplant was engaged in the supply of mineral fertilizers and plant protection products and is currently in a state of bankruptcy. Perhaps the lawsuit of Sber against Bayer is related to its activities: Bayer is one of the world’s largest pesticide producers.
Sber (preciously Sberbank), in turn, is one of the leading banks in Russia.
