Russian greenhouse complexes may count on government subsidies
According to the decree of the Government of Russia, agricultural producers growing vegetables in greenhouse complexes will be able to receive state subsidies.
The decree has expanded the list of those who can get state support within the framework of the program for the development of agriculture in the country, approved by the decree of the Government of Russia in July 2012. Now farmers growing vegetables in greenhouses with the use of supplementary lighting technology may count on government support.
Supplementary lighting systems are designed to increase the productivity of plants and are actively used in greenhouse complexes. The resolution adopted by the Russian Government will support agricultural producers in the introduction of new technologies and will help to increase the harvest of vegetables in greenhouses, as well as will contribute to the saturation of the Russian market with agricultural products of domestic production.
