US continues anti-dumping investigation of carbamide-ammoniac compound from Russia
According to the official statement of the US International Trade Commission, they decided to continue an anti-dumping investigation against the supply of the carbamide-ammoniac compound from Russia, Trinidad, and Tobago.
“The US International Trade Commission preliminary made an affirmative decision on anti-dumping and countervailing investigations concerning the carbamide-ammoniac compound from Russia, Trinidad, and Tobago,” the document says.
This means that the American authorities admit that the supply of these products could cause damage to the US economy. The final decision, including the issue of the need to impose anti-dumping and countervailing customs duties, will follow the results of the investigation which started on June 30.
The investigation was initiated due to the appeal of American fertilizer producers.
