PhosAgro celebrates its IPO anniversary
PhosAgro celebrates 10 years of listing shares and global depositary receipts (GDR) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Moscow Exchange.
All these years, PhosAgro has consistently demonstrated strong production and financial results, strived to balance the interests of all stakeholders, and also showed its commitment to the principles of sustainable development and socially responsible conduct of the business.
“The history of PhosAgro is a history of development and growth, an important milestone in which was the company’s IPO in 2011. Even though, while approaching this event, the company had already occupied a leading position in the domestic and world markets and was distinguished by high quality and a wide range of products, over the past 10 years we have significantly changed and improved almost all aspects of our activities. Since the IPO, we have raised the standards of information disclosure and corporate management, and have become even more open and transparent with our stakeholders,” said PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev. “We proudly report the strong results of the company. Fertilizer production has more than doubled since 2011 and for the first time exceeded 10 million tons last year. Also last year, for the first time in our 20-year history, we increased the supply of mineral fertilizers to our key Russian market to over 2.9 million tons. The number of produced fertilizers has increased from 14 to over 50 brands. Our flexible production model allows us to quickly adapt the grocery basket, responding to external challenges of the economic environment.”
According to the statement of Andrey Guryev, PhosAgro is a vertically integrated company, the business model of which covers all business segments: from the extraction of raw materials to logistics and distribution of finished products. Therefore, we can provide ourselves with apatite concentrate in full, sulfuric acid by 93%, and ammonia over 80%. Over the past 10 years, the investments have exceeded 337 billion rubles (approximately $4.58 billion).
Fertilizer Daily congratulates the shareholders, top managers, and employees of PhosAgro on the company’s anniversary and wishes them new success. Your company is the pride of Russia!
