Agrocom has acquired the Zolotovskoye agricultural enterprise
Agrocom Group has acquired the Zolotovskoye agricultural enterprise (Rostov region), specializing in the cultivation of grain crops.
Its land area is 2.6 thousand hectares. Besides growing grain crops, Zolotovskoye has plantings of potatoes, corn, and onions. Potatoes are supplied to the Frito-Lay company and corn to the Tehada company.
Agrocom is engaged in the production of meat, the extraction of drinking and mineral water, the output of plastic packaging for the meat and dairy industries.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
