Organic fertilizers will be produced in Chuvashia
The Fund for the Development of Industry and Investment Activity of Chuvash Republic allocated a loan of 110 million rubles (approximately $1.5 million) for the implementation of the project on the creation of a plant for processing poultry waste.
“The total cost of the project will be 230 million rubles (approximately $3.1 million). With these funds, the investor will build a completely new enterprise near the Yourma agricultural holding, which poultry farm is noted as the key supplier of raw materials in the project’s documentation. The designed capacity of the plant will be over 32 thousand tons of products per year, using 200 tons of raw materials per day,” notes Alexander Zverev, Acting Head of the Fund for the Development of Industry and Investment Activity of Chuvash Republic.
Unlike competitors using fermentation technology with the help of active bacteria, the future enterprise will use a technology that will eliminate the unpleasant odor, which is now spreading to the adjacent territory, including the city of Cheboksary. The obtained organic fertilizers will be supplied to the Russian market and beyond.
It’s planned to complete construction and start production by June 2023.
