Grodno Azot will repair ammonia and carbamide workshops
Grodno Azot (Belarus) has begun major repairs in its two workshops. The works should last a little over a month.
According to the press-service of the company, the workshops for the production of ammonia No. 4 and carbamide No. 4 have been suspended for overhaul. Repair works will last there for 34 days, after which the production process will be resumed. It took almost a month and a half to prepare for the overhaul of the workshops at Grodno Azot.
Ammonia workshop No. 4 was suspended for 25 days of the scheduled repairs in September last year. Over the past eight months, there have been frequent crashes. Usually, it was a malfunction of the technological equipment. The work of the workshops resumed in one or two days.
The last unscheduled suspension of the equipment in the ammonia workshop No. 4 was reported on April 19, after which carbamide workshop No. 4 stopped working too. The work was resumed after 32 hours.
