New greenhouse complex was opened in the Kurgan region
The opening of the Martynovsky greenhouse complex took place in the Kurgan region. It will annually produce 15 thousand tons of vegetables to meet the needs of residents of both the Kurgan region and the Siberian Federal District.
The capital investments in the Martynovsky greenhouse complex exceeded 3 billion rubles (approximately $41 million). The implementation of the project included the construction of greenhouses, a 2.5 km road, and a water pipe.
Martynovsky is currently the only greenhouse complex in the Kurgan region.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
