Uralkali will attract a green loan

As Uralkali’s main owner Dmitry Mazepin reports, the company will receive a green loan.
“Uralkali is already attracting green financing — a loan with the interest rate pegged to the dynamics of key performance indicators for sustainable development. The ratio is highly ambitious, which has allowed us to involve 18 international and Russian banks. Already this week we are signing an agreement worth up to $1.25 billion for a period of 5 years,” Dmitry Mazepin said.
According to his statement, investors and banks believe that Uralkali will fulfill the set plan, and, therefore, they give green money which is cheaper.
