Digital Agro wants to digitalize agriculture in the Kurgan region
Within the framework of the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Digital Agro (part of Uralchem) and the administration of the Kurgan region signed a cooperation agreement on the digitalization of agriculture in the region.
The document was signed by Digital Agro CEO Sergey Koloskov and Deputy Governor of the Kurgan region Andrey Alekseev.
The agreement is aimed at introducing digital technologies in agriculture to achieve better performance of agricultural enterprises using modern solutions in their production activities. It’s also planned to jointly develop new forms of distance profile education to expand access to high-quality specialized training programs.
“Russia has the potential to become a world agricultural leader. The country has land, basic infrastructure and people. At the same time, agribusiness is forced to solve the issues of the day, such as the lack of qualified employees, difficulties to control the quality of implementation of the technology, and obtaining the necessary insurance and financial products. It’s important to understand that these problems cannot be solved without digital products. Before spreading the technologies, it’s necessary to make solutions simpler and more convenient, while remaining valuable,” said Sergey Koloskov.
