Uralchem plans to expand cooperation with TransContainer
TransContainer (part of Delo Group) and Uralchem-Trans (logistics operator of Uralchem) have agreed to expand cooperation in the transportation of mineral fertilizers in containers. The corresponding agreement within the framework of the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was signed by the President of TransContainer Alexander Isurin and the Director of Uralchem-Trans Vsevolod Kovshov.
The agreement is aimed at strengthening strategic partnership and developing the long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in the transportation of Uralchem products in containers owned by TransContainer. Besides, the parties organize close cooperation to promptly respond to changes in the transport and logistics services market to ensure the most efficient logistics for Uralchem.
“We are interested in expanding cooperation with Uralchem and, taking into account the availability of our own transport assets and accumulated experience in the container transportation segment, we can guarantee high-quality service and efficient logistics for the company. We hope that the signed agreement will contribute to the growth of transportations in containers and an increase in the volume of non-resource exports from Russia,” said Alexander Isurin.
“We have been cooperating with TransContainer for over 10 years. The share of the transportation of finished products in containers is constantly growing. We are interested in further expanding cooperation with TransContainer. The signing of the agreement will additionally support our partnership and will speed up the optimization of transport processes at our enterprises by creating new logistics chains based on container transportation,” said Vsevolod Kovshov.
