Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers allocated $5.8 million for environmental activities
Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers (part of Uralchem) reported on the results of activities in the field of environmental safety. In 2020, more than 424.6 million rubles (approximately $5.8 million) were allocated for environmental protection.
Throughout the last year, Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers carried out a systematic work aimed at minimizing the negative impact on the environment.
Were conducted repairs in the ammophos workshop No.2 and the sulfuric acid workshop. In the water supply and sewerage workshop, significant environmental work was carried out as well. In spring and autumn last year, the next stages of reclamation of the Lopatinsky landfill were implemented.
In 2020, the plant continued to run projects related to the renewal of technological equipment and, as a result, to reduce the burden on the environment.
