Federal Antimonopoly Service will check fertilizer prices
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) examines the information on the dynamics of prices for mineral fertilizers, provided by agricultural enterprises and producers of mineral fertilizers, for signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation and the sufficiency of supply in the domestic market.
FAS will hold meetings with the largest producers of mineral fertilizers on the situation with supplies for the needs of Russian consumers.
FAS also notes that meeting the domestic demand for mineral fertilizers is a priority since it directly affects the food security of the country. The analysis of the situation will be completed soon and if there are signs of overpricing, appropriate response measures will be taken.
