Exports of nitrogen fertilizers from Russia declined
During the January-November period of 2020, supplies of nitrogen fertilizers from Russia declined by 3.8% to 12.3 million tons. According to the Federal Customs Service, they fell even more in value terms — by 15.2% to $2.2 billion.
The sales of potassium fertilizers to the global market increased by 9.1% to 8.7 million tons. In monetary terms, they, on the contrary, declined by 20% to $1.6 billion.
Exports of compound fertilizers remained at the level of the same period in 2019 and amounted to 9.7 million tons. In value terms, they declined by 15.9% to $2.4 billion.
