Stavropol region accumulated a surplus of agrochemicals
The press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol region reports that agricultural enterprises and farmers of the region are completing the accumulation of mineral fertilizers. As of today, they have stocked 96 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers or 133% of the required volume.
Farmers continue applying agrochemicals to the fields. They have already used 101.3 thousand tons or 98% of the required volume.
At the same time, prices for mineral fertilizers increased. In October, ammonium nitrate and ammophos in the Stavropol region rose in price by 15% (compared to the same month of 2019) to 12 850 rubles ($168.3) per ton and by 7% to 11 440 rubles ($149.83), respectively. However, nitroammophos dropped in price by 2% to 20.1 thousand rubles ($263.26), carbamide-ammoniac compound by 3% to 11 150 rubles ($146.04), and sulfoammophos by 4% to 20 330 rubles ($266.27).
