Ukraine dropped anti-dumping investigation against fertilizers from Belarus
The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine decided to dismiss a special investigation on the import of complex and nitrogen fertilizers from Belarus without introducing non-tariff restrictive measures.
In August 2020, a special investigation related to the import of nitrogen and complex fertilizers was launched in Ukraine.
“The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine decided to dismiss the investigation without introducing non-tariff restrictive measures. This decision was approved by the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Rada (Council) and local agricultural producers, who understand the risks of closing and monopolizing the fertilizer market: high prices, limited supply, and late delivery,” said Natalya Zezukina, Head of the marketing department of the Gomel Chemical Plant.
