PhosAgro will invest $759 million in its Kirovsk branch
Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of PhosAgro Andrey Guryev paid a working visit to the Kirovsk branch of Apatit. He held a meeting on the issues of performance indicators and health security.
Andrey Guryev also got acquainted with the work of the mines, estimated the effectiveness of the protective measures taken against the COVID-19 pandemic and discussed the implementation of PhosAgro’s social projects in the region.
The COVID-19 pandemic has become a real trial for the whole business community of Russia, and the PhosAgro and Kirovsk branch of Apatit is not an exception. The enterprise managed to protect its workers and keep the pace and work plans.
Moreover, the development of the Kirovsk branch of Apatit didn’t suspend during the pandemic.
“During the next 5 years, the total investments in the development of the capacities of the Kirovsk branch of Apatit will exceed 60 billion rubles ($759 million). A whole range of projects will be implemented to develop the Kirovsk mine,” noted Alexander Gilgenberg, General Director of Apatit.
